Here is a complete transcript of the broadcast (below)…

Friend, this is our fourth and final part on the ministry of angels. And like I said before, not all angels are good friend. We need to be careful. Okay. There’s deception that is rife in the new age movement. And some angels have coerced and manipulated the weak minds of men and introduced another gospel and added or taken away from God’s word. And they have fallen in to sin. They have fallen into deception and creating another theology that man attempts to believe, trying to bridge his way from earth to heaven. When Christ was the only bridge, Christ was the only way friend. He is the way, the truth and the life. Now, the way we interpret things often depends on our belief system. And let me give you a particular example of this regarding angels that occurred in 1985. Okay. Now I’m going to read this account of Russian cosmonauts who encountered what they originally and initially perceived as angels on a space trip. Now this is pretty far out, but this is an actual account. Okay. I’m going to read it to you in October, 1985. It was reported that six Soviet cosmonauts said they had witnessed the most inspiring spectacle ever encountered in space, a band of glowing angels, seven giant figures in the form of humans, but with wings and the mist-like halos.

And in the classic depiction of angels, they appeared to be hundreds of feet tall with wingspans as great as a jetliner. The apparitions followed the cosmonauts around for about 10 minutes and then vanished as quickly as they had come. A report in the April 6th, 1986 issue of a national tabloid paper spoke of this incident. And I quote, reports that Soviet cosmonauts cited a band of angels on a space mission last summer have been disputed by a Russian researcher who says the celestial apparitions were actually fields of pure energy and alien intellect. In an interview with French journalist Andrei Damarouz, Dr. Yuri Manikov said the cosmonauts initially referred to the beings as angels simply because the beings had wings. But now that all the facts are in, he said, there can be no doubt the creatures descended from a race of humanoids who shed their bodies after reaching the top of the evolutionary ladder. I have studied every aspect of the cosmonauts’ report and this is my conclusion, said the astrophysicist. Then he went on to say, I realize that Christians around the world would love to believe that this phenomenon is proof of their God in heaven. But as communists, as atheists, we Soviets take a purely scientific approach. We have not let religious superstition distort the facts. And we say these beings are far from angels, even if they did have wings.

So even though atheists on both sides of the ocean may not believe in angels, they choose to believe in some preposterous extraterrestrial beings. And friend, this cosmonaut or astrophysicist said, I’m going by science. Clearly, we’re going by science and we’re stating that these are extraterrestrials, possibly from another planet. Friend, that’s not science. That’s a belief system. That’s his cosmogony. That’s what he believes. And his science has blinded him. Those cosmonauts saw something supernatural they didn’t understand, but they immediately went to the default setting, which is prevalent today, that man was even birthed or spawned by these alien entities. You see, friend, seeing an angel is going to make a difference to the atheist. And here’s why. The gospel has been given to man to preach on this earth. We are the ones to preach the gospel, not angels. That is our responsibility. Seeing an angel is a wonderful thing. Don’t get me wrong if you’re a believer and it’s a real angel from the Lord. However, we do not listen to angels for other gospels or for other messages that might contradict God’s word. It’s the same with miracles. You know, you’d think, well, you know, if this person saw an amazing miracle, they’d believe in God. No, no, not necessarily, friend. That’s not how it works. The word brings light.

The word brings truth. Okay. That’s what penetrates the heart. Seeing a miracle will be impressive, no doubt, but that’s not necessarily going to cause you to believe in Yahweh God. Okay. The enemy can perform things in the natural realm that can appear miraculous. Okay. If he’s the one giving cancer and he relieves that cancer temporarily, it could look like a miracle, right? Some of these things have occurred in the east where people have visited temples and asked a God to heal their relative. And there has been a reprieve in the symptoms temporarily, but it’s a tradeoff friend because the enemy never does anything for you out of the goodness of his heart. There’s always a tradeoff for something else. There’s always an exchange. Okay. So only true Yahweh God can do the healing can bring the gospel can convert a heart and the angelic realm. And even the miraculous realm, we have to judge according to God’s word. Amen. So let me remind you once more, friend, the initial response from the cosmonauts created in God’s image is that they are angels. We are looking at beings. Okay. Above the stratosphere of this earth in the heavenly places in the high places, as the Bible speaks, they saw them and they said, man, those they’re angels without a doubt.

However, when they tried to reason it through, they jumped to another conclusion and they jumped to the conclusion that these must be quote unquote extraterrestrial beings. And friend, I’ve talked about this deception before. Some postulate many scholars, in fact, that the deception that is spoken about in Thessalonians, that God causes man strong delusion that they should believe a lie is in fact that aliens spawned our human race. And this is panspermia. And this cosmogony is gaining momentum right now in the popular media on the history channel in the ancient alien series, which is constantly preaching this lie. Friend, there are good and bad angels out there. And my concern is that some bad angels could actually be assisting us with bright lights and posing as aliens. And it will actually lead us to the conclusion, our leaders on this earth that we actually came from them. And right now, friend, the National Aeronautical Space Administration, NASA, some speculate are on the verge of announcing that they have found life on other planets. They’re about to announce it. That’s what many people think. And just imagine the fury that would be gained by that. And this would play into the hands of the demonic and the hands of the angelic who are trying to deceive man. So, friend, what are the words of Jesus in the Olivet Discourse? He kept saying, don’t be deceived, be not deceived, right?

Deception is one of the key issues of the last days, friend. But once again, friend, we the church are the restraining force that’s keeping the deception back. You’re not going to fall for this nonsense because you’ll be long gone in the rapture before it fully manifests. But your presence on earth is restraining the full manifestation of this deception. And so, we’re rounding off our message today live at DHOP. And you can join me now. So, this is merely a trick of the enemy to deceive us because the church’s apparent lack of power and gifting. Some people have been propelled into the new age because they’re like, you know what? There’s got to be more to God than this. And some people are like; I’m giving up on the church because they’re not talking about the gifts. They’re not talking about the power of God. They’re not talking about the demonic. I’m going somewhere else. And that’s what they do, friends. They go seeking power, but it’s unsanctioned power. Our role is to obey God’s word and let the angels do their thing. Amen. That’s it. You’re not supposed to be seeking angels, talking to angels, any of those things. If one turns up and says, hey, I’ve got book 67, check it out. You’re going to go in Jesus’ name. I rebuke you. Go, go wherever Jesus tells you to go. The canon of scripture is closed. 2It’s right here.

We must watch what we think, say, and do. Suggestion. Nobody likes me. I haven’t got any friends. No one would notice if I took those pills. It’s progressive. Okay. Carrying on a conversation with the enemy. We need to cut that communication link tonight in Jesus’ name. What we think, say, and do has an impact. If we sow to the flesh or agree with demonic suggestion, we’re giving place to the enemy. It says in Ephesians 4:27, “don’t give place.” Don’t give the enemy anything. So, every week here at D hop, and I admire your courage. We say, Lord, I’m going to release some stuff. I’m going to let go of all those grievances and offenses and say, Lord, clean and wash my heart again one more time. And there’s amazing freedom and joy that comes with that. Amen. We don’t fully understand or comprehend the workings of angels, but we’re not, we’re supposed to live by faith. We’re not supposed to live by the angel handbook, right? They can show up, these angels in times of extreme danger, in times of transition, preceding births, bringing deliverance and healing. Remember the pool of Bethesda that the angel would stir the waters, right? And whoever got in first would be healed. They could inflict severe judgment. However, their visitations are not common and they should not be sought after. And some people in this room I know have had encounters with angels and that’s awesome. This is a very interesting scripture right here. 1st Cor inthians13:1, this is the apostle Paul speaking, “though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels and have not loved. I’m become a sounding brass or a tinkling symbol.” Isn’t it interesting there that he said that he occasionally may speak in the tongue of angels.

How is he doing that prior to this and following he’s talking about praying in the spirit, right? In first Corinthians 12 and 14 is a complete outline of the charismatic outpouring of God and his spirit and the gifts. Paul said, I speak in tongues more than you all. And he’s saying that maybe occasionally he switches over into angelic language. There’s no proof of that, friend. Okay. All I’m saying is pray in your heavenly language as God leads. But there’s an inference that potentially angels are listening. Just a thought. Just a thought. It’s review time. Amen. The angelic realm is rife with deception. So we need to be very careful. Angels, both good and evil, are listening to our words. The power of binding and loosing is on earth. It’s not in heaven. It’s here, right? Because you have authority. Remember Jesus’s command in Matthew 18. Whatever you bind on earth is bound in heaven. Whatever you loose on earth is loosed in heaven. If we bind unforgiveness and resentment to us, it’s bound in the heavenly realms. But if we loose it and let go of that grievance, it’s loosed in heaven. Amen. And blessing and joy can be released. What we think, say, and do can impact us for good or evil. And you say, well, pastor, you know, I think some weird stuff. Okay. I don’t want you to talk about what I think. Listen, I’m with you, dude. I’m with you. Not every thought that comes into our head is from us, right? Good and evil thoughts come to us. And it’s up to us to discern what sticks and what is to be cast out. Have you ever entered a room after someone gave a sharp sermon about angels and people looking kind of freaked out? No. Have you ever entered a room after someone had a sharp argument? Did you sense an atmosphere in that room? Like someone’s had a real ding-dong. You walk in. It’s like, whoa, something’s just happened here. You’re sensing it, right?

The atmosphere is impacted by our words. The atmosphere around us. When we praise and worship God, we’re strengthening the work of God in our lives. And angels praise God. That’s part of their role. Peace comes. Joy comes. If we start entertaining evil and doing evil acts, we’re then bringing darkness on the scene. We don’t want to do that. So, our words impact our spiritual atmosphere. If you’re in a pickle, if you’re in a tight spot, it’s time to start worshiping God, no matter what you feel like. Don’t go by what you feel. Go by what the word says. The last thing anybody wants to do after they’ve been oppressed is start praising and worshiping God because your flesh is like, eh, I do not want to do that right now. And then after you’ve done that, say, Father God, I thank you right now, that no matter what is going on, you’re on the throne and I’m a part of your body. Amen. Friend, the real angels are messengers of God sent to give messages in conformance to the word of God and never opposing it. They turn up in times of distress. They come to help us. They come to aid us. They appear before significant births. They can also appear in the form of men as mentioned in the book of Hebrews. And their job is to guide us as heirs of salvation to the throne of God. Friend, that is the primary working of a godly angel. And we are most grateful for them until tomorrow. Good night. God bless.

Six Frequently Asked Questions:

1. What does the Bible say about good and evil angels?

The Bible teaches that not all angels are faithful to God. While holy angels serve the Lord and minister to believers, fallen angels work to deceive humanity through false teachings, counterfeit spiritual experiences, and opposition to God’s truth. Christians are called to test every spiritual encounter against the authority of Scripture.

2. Should Christians believe claims that angels are extraterrestrials?

Scripture does not describe angels as extraterrestrial beings from other planets. The Bible identifies angels as spiritual beings created by God to carry out His purposes. Believers should carefully evaluate claims about UFOs, aliens, or supernatural encounters according to God’s Word rather than popular culture or speculative theories.

3. Can angels deliver messages that contradict the Bible?

No. God’s holy angels will never deliver a message that adds to, removes from, or contradicts Scripture. Galatians 1:8–9 warns believers to reject any gospel that differs from the one already revealed, even if it appears to come from an angel.

4. Why is spiritual discernment so important in the last days?

Jesus repeatedly warned His followers not to be deceived. The Bible teaches that deception will increase in the last days through false signs, counterfeit miracles, and misleading spiritual experiences. Christians must remain grounded in God’s Word and rely on the Holy Spirit for discernment.

5. Should Christians seek angelic encounters?

No. The Bible encourages believers to seek God—not angels. While God may send angels to protect, guide, or help His people according to His will, Christians are never instructed to pray to angels, pursue angelic experiences, or seek new revelation from them.

6. How can believers guard themselves against spiritual deception?

Believers guard themselves by knowing Scripture, staying close to Christ, praying regularly, exercising discernment, and refusing thoughts or teachings that contradict God’s Word. As Ephesians 4:27 teaches, Christians should “give no place to the devil” and remain faithful to the truth revealed in the Bible.
