Friend, this is part 2 of our series on the ministry of angels and lest we forget Angels are involved in deception in deceiving man Starting with the original cherub in the Garden of Eden the cherub that fell came and seduced man Into sin and man paid the price by dying Instantaneously spiritually and over time physically yet Lest us forget that angels are involved in several cults and we’re gonna discuss that today in this broadcast Beware friend if an angel arrives saying he’s Gabriel or Michael ask him for his driver’s license These angels would only conform to God’s Word They would never add or take away from the existing word of God and Galatians 1 8 and 9 is a warning from the Apostle Paul to us that we should never accept another gospel from another angel and Oh friend If only Muhammad had listened to that warning and also we’re gonna discuss probably seven different types of angels today Seraphim cherubim the Archangels etc. We’re gonna get into it and perhaps touch on the fact. Is there a biblical consensus? Backing up the fact that we might have guardian angels. So the whole sin concept started in that realm That’s why we need to be careful Remember that man was tempted Lucifer wasn’t tempted. He just said I will I will I will I will there was no one to tempt him Jesus said God prepared hell for the devil and his angels in Matthew 25:14. But man goes there. He’s sent to hell against God’s will it’s not God’s will that man goes there. Okay Originally, it was created for the devil and his angels But by default because man has chosen the way of sin He is going to go there also unless he chooses to be born again Pride was the original sin in the angelic world. So we have to we have to really be careful with pride. Pride could be a stumbling block God gives grace to the humble, but he resists the proud So we have to really keep an eye on that thing because that’s the reason for the original fall in the first place Very true.
Not every angel is a good angel and a lot of people before they come to Christ will open doors Inadvertently to the spiritual realm when they enter into tarot card readings palm readings psychic readings water divining all of these things Involve some kind of faith or some kind of interaction with the demonic realm And so when we come to Christ, we need to renounce those things and say Lord I want no part of that and I ask for forgiveness and we close those doors in Jesus name If any of you have done those things in your past I would urge you to pray even this evening by yourself. I let go of those things I’m sorry for doing it in the name of Jesus I close those doors tonight and just thank him that there’s no oppression Amen, because some people can get saved in spirit filled but still feel like there’s an open door and sometimes it can be Witchcraft that was tampered with before you came to Christ so the danger of cults Angelic cults the Apostle Paul warned us of the coming deception of angels preaching another gospel and Launching new religions. This is in Galatians chapter 1 verses 8 through 9 and I’ll read it But though we or an angel from heaven preaches any other gospel unto you that which we have preached unto you let him be accursed as We said before so say I now again if any man preaches any other gospel unto you than that which you’ve received Let him be accursed. So we have angels and we have men preaching false teachings Adding to the word and taking away from the word which is forbidden and spoken of in Revelation And what happens? Accursed accursed because you’re bringing people back into bondage again.
Many cults have been founded by interacting with so-called angels. Sorry, who came to add to the word Let’s let’s just go through some of these briefly Mormonism the angel Moroni appeared to Joseph Smith in 1823 directing him to golden plates that needed to be translated friend. The canon of Scripture was closed in 95 AD it’s right here. We don’t need to go looking for extra golden plates. Amen We don’t need that what’s the fascination the angel Moroni he’s not in the Bible we have Mormonism Then we have Islam Some practitioners of Islam are stealing killing and destroying right now in abundance The angel Gabriel appeared to Muhammad when Muhammad had further revelations. He phoned at the mouth and had seizures When he had these revelations He went to his wife and said is this from God because I’m foaming and doing these strange things and she wasn’t sure herself But nevertheless, he wrote the Quran on bones and parchment. Okay, we would call this demonic manifestation 600 years after Christianity was founded. We have another religion and lo and behold Gabriel. Gabriel appeared to Muhammad and of course, he said that the Word of God is not finished. There’s more What did Paul say if an angel from heaven preaches any other gospel unto you? Let them be accursed.
Didn’t he say that that’s a warning 600 years before this event occurred But because Muhammad didn’t have knowledge of that he couldn’t combat it, right? He didn’t have the understanding and so he was deceived Then we have Jehovah’s Witnesses who believe that Jesus is in merely an angel and not the Son of God So they brought him down to the angelic realm They also believe that you can become an angel one day and have your own planet and rule and all other things Okay Everything that is given must be compared to the Word of God That’s why it’s so crucial that we have an understanding of it. Otherwise, we could be deceived ourselves I’ve done various radio programs on these topics Mormonism Islam Jehovah’s Witnesses Hinduism Buddhism Kabbalah there’s various programs out there and in many cases angels have been involved But lo and behold Paul was warning us so long ago Don’t listen to them. You’ll be deceived angels. Don’t look like this. They look like this. Whoa far out, dude Good angels and bad angels. Remember that a third fell right? So two thirds are good Two thirds of benevolent one third are malevolent Let’s list some of these the seraphim mentioned in the vision of Isaiah. Isaiah chapter six verses one through seven says, He’s the only one who saw them their purpose is to declare the holiness of God. Holy. Holy. Holy These are the seraphim they have six wings and they mean burning one or burning ones. Then we have the cherubim Involved in the praise and worship of God two cherubs cover the mercy seat of the Ark of the Covenant, right?
They’re facing each other with their angel wings touching each other guarding the glory of God and lo and behold Lucifer is described as a cherub also and so he was also witness to the glory himself That’s why he wanted a taste of it and said I will I will I will I will I will okay We don’t fully understand friend everything that transpired We are given a few key passages in Job Ezekiel and Isaiah about what occurred to Lucifer But we know he was a cherub. He was not an archangel as many people surmise Michael and Gabriel are listed as archangels or chief among the angelic realm Michael is called the great prince and they are of a higher class of angel now in other writings Jewish writings There’s other mentions of Archangels you can look them up yourself. It’s debatable whether or not they exist, but they’re in their historical record Then we have the Watchers of Daniel 4:13 the only reference we find in the Bible. The Holy ones who came down from heaven then we have the four living creatures Similar to the cherubim except they only have one head Whereas the cherubim have several heads whoa far out and are full of eyes in front and behind They have six wings as well Then we have the bad angels the evil angels in 2nd Peter 2:4 and Jude 6:7 It talks about those bound in hell. And if you look at that word in the Greek, it’s Tartarus.
Tartarus is the lowest part of hell the very deepest portion But we know that some angels are still loose now some of the evil ones. Amen. We’re getting to the meat tonight We’re getting to things that people don’t talk about we’re talking about stuff that people don’t really address Nevertheless, it’s in the Word of God. We’re not going to be fearful. We don’t need to be paying too much attention to these strange lights in the sky that could be appearing as Extraterrestrials from another planet what an interesting concept I would suggest to you they’re not extra planetary They’re extra dimensional these same entities have been deceiving mankind for thousands of years. They were goblins They were elves. They were leprechauns and now they’re extraterrestrials Because as man advances in time and he becomes smarter then we’ve got to deceive him a little bit differently, right? Just a thought just a thought Do we have guardian angels question mark because a lot of people ask this question do we have guardian angels? Well, here’s a scripture that could point to the fact that we might Matthew 18:10 through 12 And this is Jesus speaking Take heed that you despise not one of these little ones talking about the kids for I say unto you that in heaven Their angels do always behold the face of my father, which is in heaven For the Son of Man has come to say that which is lost their Angels do behold the face of my father. There’s an implication there that maybe that these children have Angels watching over them.
We cannot say categorically by scriptural reference, but there’s an implication that they might Angels watch over children. We know that all children are born to be heirs of salvation We talked about that in Hebrews 1:14 that scripture I gave you that we are heirs to inherit the truth Once we attain adulthood, we need to choose the gospel or reject it It’s our choice But there are many testimonies of strangers or potential angels in the flesh aiding times in times of distress one example is Genesis chapter 37 when Joseph pursued his brothers a Complete stranger just came up to him and he’s like, oh your brothers went this way all of your brothers went this way Joseph He’s like, okay complete stranger could be an angel possibly not saying it was but again Their involvement is to help and guide God’s will on this earth And we know that they appear as physical beings. They appear as human beings.
