Here is a complete transcript of the broadcast (below)…
Friend, today I have the pleasure of sharing with you the release of my latest book, entitled Lionheart, Unleash the Warrior Within, which is now available at all major booksellers. It is my sincere desire to ignite Christ’s transformative power in you, the same transformation I have experienced and the stories that came with it since giving my heart to the Lord all those years ago. Recently, the Lord put it on my heart to finally put pen to paper and share the importance of forging a godly identity, trusting in him, and moving in his power. We are in a critical hour, friend, where destinies are being forged and Lionheart is about legacy and leaving a godly one at that. Friend, I cannot stress enough, Christ’s return is imminent. We are seated at the edge of time and the rapture could occur any day now. It is in this urgent hour I present to you a critical text which must garner your attention with the aim of activating the lion of the tribe of Judah within your very soul. Now is the time to press into God and fulfill his call for your life. This has been the mandate of my ministry from its inception, that is, to help you fulfill your God-given potential.
Now the question I’m sure you’re asking yourself is, why should I get this book and what is it going to do for me? Good question, friend, and I hope to answer it. In a nutshell, this text will challenge and renew your mind to foster uncompromising courage within your heart. Now this manuscript has five chapters and a conclusion, the core competencies of Christendom, namely warriors knowing who they are, warriors who trust God, warriors who know their enemy, warriors who are not easily deceived, and finally warriors who know how to move in God’s power. Friend, this book is not for the faint-hearted. It is for those who deliberately choose the brave, uncompromising, and somewhat lonesome path of a true leader, who will not back down when their faith is confronted. This treatise is not for everyone. It is edgy, pointed, stirring, factual, and inspirational. The same uncompromising faith I earnestly endeavor to convey in each and every podcast is captured within this title. Lionheart ignites the passion of every believer to encounter greater intimacy with God, empowering them to overcome the various challenges in our fight of faith. Lionheart is the Swiss army knife for Christian living. It provides crucial tools to accomplish the tasks God has called us to. It cuts to the core of systematic apathy purveyed by many Christians who are waiting on God to do something when all the while he’s waiting on us to prayerfully partner with him in power and authority.
Lionheart Unleash the Warrior Within will stir your heart, challenge your soul, and empower you to be an overcomer. Many believers feel like they’re living with the brakes on. They go to church, they’re faithful givers, they serve when they can, yet it feels like something is missing. Many believers, in fact, are stuck in a rut. They have placed their faith in Christ but feel detached from his purpose for their lives. This book will inspire every believer to press into God, encountering a deeper relationship with him. Particularly, this book will confront deeply rooted apathy, challenging everyone to step up in this last hour. Onus is placed upon the importance of a consistent prayer life, biblical meditation, embracing opportunities to pray for others, and daily devotional time. Deep theological issues are also addressed in this volume, and you won’t be disappointed. You see, friend, there is no sadder epitaph than I never became what I might have been. In truth, most people never discover their true purpose because it can only be found in the mind of the creator.
Communing with the creator is the key to manifest destiny, yet so few lions take the time. For years now, the Lions Unchained podcast has challenged believers to unleash their God-given destiny. Many lions and lionesses, for that matter, are caught up in the demands of the day-to-day, scouring the Savannah, chasing down warthogs, or taking care of the cubs. Consequently, purposeful living becomes an afterthought, and the grind becomes the norm. The purpose of this book is to activate God’s call on your life and equip you to do so by revealing five key concepts which are foundational for Christian success. No matter where you are in life, friend, it is never too late as far as God’s concerned. It is time to unleash the warrior within. This book is a clarion call to revive orthodox doctrine within the church in opposition to the burgeoning ecumenical movement. Lionheart is for those who are frustrated due to the perceived inability of God moving in their life. It is for those who are fearful of the perilous times we are living in.
It is for those cautious of the new age and its impact on the essential doctrines of the church. It is for the person who desires the requisite tools for living a victorious life in Christ. It is also for those who feel powerless to navigate the spiritual malaise of modern-day living, but realize God has a plan for them. Lionheart will forge a strong biblical identity in the reader, rooted in the eternal promises found within the epistles. Lionheart will help you to identify the real Christ from the ecumenical smorgasbord which offers another Jesus. Are you in a religion, friend, or following the true Christ? This book will help you. Lionheart will identify your enemy, Satan, who is the true oppressor, revealing his origins, strategies, and machinations. And perhaps most of all, Lionheart will help you activate your God-given power and authority to overcome the obstacles in your path. Let me also add this book is autobiographical in some ways. Within its pages you will find anecdotes and testimony of how God has moved mightily in my life. This includes my own transformation from an unassuming hobbit from the Shire who left his small island and continent, in fact, to discover the true Jehovah God after being raised in a secular upbringing and religious environment. How God has used me in the gift of healing and the prophetic gifts warrants special mention. And these are discussed in the book.
And what for? All for the purpose of encouraging you, my dear friend, that God can and will use you as you step out in faith, for he is no respecter of persons. And friend, there’s a lot of meat in this dissertation because lions desire true meat from the master’s table. Let me read now a few specific topics addressed in this book. How to develop a solid identity in Christ. Isaiah 53, the dead center of the Bible and the promises it holds for you. The 40 transformative promises which you must identify with. The power of meditating on God’s word. Is God sovereign as many teach? And what exactly does that mean through the lens of Scripture? Do all things work together for good? Can we die before our time? Is there an appointment for our death or do we have a part to play in our longevity? Is there anything that God cannot do or does he act on a whim? Are all regional or national leaders God sent? Did God create evil or is it merely a by-product of free will? Who is Lucifer? Where did he come from? Where does he reside today? How has the tree of knowledge or cedar of pride mentioned in Ezekiel chapter 31 subverted the nations? The role of the occult in this last hour.
How inferiority is a snare to believers and how to overcome it. Was Charles Darwin a real scientist or something else entirely? The fake rapture, new age deceptive doctrines rooted in the demonic realm and repackaged paganism ready to be served on a platter for the modern man. These are topics discussed in my book along with the United Nations coming world messiah or Maitreya and its connection with the burgeoning UFO phenomenon. And on and on friend there is so much meat to chew on in this title and I am barely a third the way through looking at the subtitles here so be on the lookout for it this fall. Friend this is my first publication and no doubt there will be more to come if the Lord tarries but in the meantime if I had to sum up Lionheart it would be about leaving a lasting and fruitful legacy for Jesus Christ in the earth. Your pivotal role in forging your family’s destiny for the years to come is entirely down to you and the choices you make from here on out. Now the other day I was drawn to Psalm 112 and as you know I enjoy the Psalms immensely. The first two verses of this beautiful Psalm go like this, “Praise ye the Lord, blessed is the man that fears the Lord, that delights greatly in his commandments. His seed shall be mighty upon the earth, the generation of the upright shall be blessed.” At this juncture allow me to share a powerful example of how godly and ungodly seed impacts the generations to come. Now Jonathan Edwards as many of you know was a Puritan preacher in the 1700s.
He was one of the most respected preachers in his day. He attended Yale at the age of 13 and later went on to become the president of Princeton College. He married his wife Sarah in 1727 and they were blessed with 11 children. Each night when Mr. Edwards was home he would spend an hour conversing with his family and prayed a blessing over each child. Jonathan and his wife Sarah passed on a great godly legacy to their 11 children which is evident in the ensuing generations. An American educator A.E. Winship decided to trace the descendants of Jonathan Edwards almost 150 years after his death. His findings are remarkable, especially when compared to another man from the same time period known as Max Jukes. Jonathan Edwards’s legacy includes one United States vice president, one dean of a law school, one dean of a medical school, three U.S. senators, three governors, three mayors, 13 college presidents, 30 judges, 60 doctors, 65 professors, 75 military officers, 80 public office holders, 100 lawyers, 100 clergymen, and 285 college graduates. How may this be explained? Edwards was a godly man. He had the heart of a lion, intelligent and moral certainly, but he knew the importance of sowing into the next generation and its impact on society. Furthermore, Winship states, Much of the capacity and talent, intensity and character of the more than 1,400 of Edwards’s family is also due to Mrs. Edwards, not just Jonathan. Mothers play such an important role, of course.
Max Jukes’s legacy came to people’s attention when the family trees of 42 different men in the New York prison system were traced back to him. He lived in New York at about the same period as Edwards. The Jukes’s family originally was studied by a sociologist called Richard Dugdale in 1877. Jukes’s descendants include seven murderers, 60 thieves, 190 prostitutes, 150 other convicts, 310 paupers, and 440 who were physically wrecked by addiction to alcohol. Of the 1,200 descendants that were studied, 300 died prematurely. These contrasting legacies providing an example of what some call the five-generation rule. How a parent raises their child, the love they give, the values they teach, the emotional environment they offer, the education they provide, influences not only their children but the four generations to follow, either for good or evil. What a challenging thought, friend. If someone studied your descendants four generations later, what would you want them to discover? Do you want the legacy of a lion like Edwards or a Juke’s legacy which plagued humanity, taking its toll on society as a whole, not to mention the tax dollars wasted on incarceration? Here’s the kicker. The life you live will ultimately determine the legacy you leave. And there it is, friend. Our legacy must glorify Christ or it is no legacy at all.
And like I said, this book titled Lionheart is available through all major booksellers, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, etc., A paperback hardcover and Kindle format will be made available depending on your personal choice. An audio edition will also be made accessible through Amazon at your discretion, and Christian Faith Publishing has kindly offered to distribute it. For which I am most grateful.
